MRVHA Members — Your Voice Matters!

We made a procedural error that a member pointed out to us. We recognize the mistake and took immediate steps to correct it. We have updated the format of the proposed bylaw changes and the return-by date to ensure the process is properly followed.

We appreciate the member who brought this to our attention and helped us identify the issue. We are committed to transparency with our membership and ensuring all members have the opportunity to review the proposed amendments and participate in the vote.

Our goal is simple: members matter.

What the Proposed Amendments Would Do

These proposed changes would:

· Give each eligible adult in a Family Membership their own vote, allowing up to two votes per Family Membership.

· Open the Board nomination process to members, allowing members to nominate candidates rather than having the nomination process centered solely around a Nominating Committee.

· Ensure accepted nominees are placed on the ballot, giving eligible members the opportunity to vote for the candidates of their choice.

· Require General Membership approval before MRVHA can be dissolved or permanently closed, rather than allowing that decision to rest solely with the Board.

These amendments are about giving members more participation, more choice, and a stronger voice in the future of MRVHA.

The Board is not asking members to simply accept these changes. We are asking you to review them, ask questions, and vote.

If you have questions, please visit www.mrvha.com and go to the Members Corner. We will be monitoring the Members Corner, and questions will be answered there.

Please Review and Vote

MRVHA belongs to its members, and we believe the membership should have a meaningful role in deciding its future.

Please take the time to review the proposed amendments and make your voice heard. Use the ballot you already received in the mail and return it in the addressed, stamped envelope by September 8, 2026.

Thank you for taking the time to participate and for helping ensure that the future of MRVHA reflects the voice of its membership.
